VIKPA RENAL REVIEW SPRING NEWSLETTER 2016

by Steven Noble June 10, 2016

Presidents Report
I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who volunteered to take positions on our VIKPA board during our AGM on February 18, 2016. The executive consists of people who have personal connections to VIKPA and kidney disease. We are a 100% volunteer organization so I especially appreciate all the hard work they do as each plays an important role in providing services, equipment and comfort items to kidney patients on Vancouver and Gulf Islands that would otherwise not be provided. VIKPA serves the over 2500 kidney patients on Vancouver Island and works hard to make a difference in their lives.

Presidents Report
Although we didn’t have a meeting, summer 2015 has been busy. We continued to work on your behalf.
In July we held our second annual volunteer BBQ. We have great volunteers from many walks of life and all share the same devotion to help kidney patients in our community.   Read the rest here:>   Renal Review October 2015

Silent Auction Thank You

by Steven Noble March 19, 2013

We are proud to announce that we raised more than $11,582 at our 4th annual silent auction March 5, 2014. VIKPA’s goal this year is to provide dialysis chairs, and the monies from the silent auction will go towards this goal.

We thank the Victoria and Vancouver Island community—and beyond—for its overwhelming donations for the silent auction. We especially thank our Platinum donors: West Jet, VIA Rail, and Hastings House Country House Hotel on Salt Spring Island.

Special thanks are due to: Victoria Hospitals Foundation, Cynthia Durand-Smith, Janic Rai, VIHA, Bill Kane, Janice Jenkins and RJH staff for their support, which helped make this event enjoyable for all those who attended.

Please offer your support when you can to the generous donors who supported VIKPA.
